لَسِيَر الصالحين أحب إلينا من كثير من الفقه
قال أبو حنيفة النعمان بن ثابت: لَسِيَر الصالحين أحب إلينا من كثير من الفقه، ذلك لأن الفقه وحده ودراسة العلوم وحدها دون مواعظ تلين لها القلوب أو تذكرة ترق لها الأسماع. تصبح القلوب أوعية للعلم ولا عمل، تصبح القلوب قاسية كالحجارة أو أشد قسوة فما أحوجنا أيها الإخوة وخاصة طلبة العلم لِسِيَر الصالحين وآدابهم واتباع سيرهم والاقتداء بسمتهم ودلّهم

Among the beneficial things is resolving tasks immediately and freeing up time in the future, because if tasks are not resolved, the remaining previous tasks will accumulate on you, and subsequent tasks will be added to them, making their burden heavier. If you resolve everything in its time, you will approach future matters with strength of thought and strength of action.
