قال بعض الحكماء: عجبت ممن يحزن على نقصان ماله ولا يحزن على فناء عمره، وعجبت ممن الدنيا مولية عنه والآخرة مقبلة إليه، فينشغل بالمدبرة، ويُعرض عن المقبلة.
قال عبد الله الرازي: إن سرّك أن تجد حلاوة العبادة وتبلغ ذروة سنامها، فاجعل بينك وبين شهوات الدنيا حائطا من حديد.

Among the beneficial things is resolving tasks immediately and freeing up time in the future, because if tasks are not resolved, the remaining previous tasks will accumulate on you, and subsequent tasks will be added to them, making their burden heavier. If you resolve everything in its time, you will approach future matters with strength of thought and strength of action.
